We have noted with great and serious concern the increase in human trafficking; particularly that of young girls from rural areas whom are taken to the cities to be used as sex slaves, drug trafficking and being sold. This is another form of gross women abuse.

As we opening schools this week, the ANCWL together with other women will be handing out parcels to poor families to kickstart this school term for 2012, the year that the ANC has committed to Education amongst other things.

The 70, 1% pass rate achieved nationally and 68, 1% achieved in this province is a major milestone and should be viewed as a victory over Bantu Education.
